Batch 83 Project to Our Alma Mater

After the SAVS 1st Grand Alumni Homecoming, some of our classmates decided to push through the proposed project of our batch to our Alma Mater - the construction of waiting shed - which will protect the students of SAVS, including our children and grandchildren, during bad weather and will served as passengers waiting area and sometimes a temporary shelter.

The construction started Monday, June 6, 2011 and was completed according to plans and specifications.

During the 30th Alumni Homecoming last April 27, 2013, some of our mentors expressed their gratitude to the batch for the realization and the benefits derived from our project. They hoped that it will not end there and more projects our batch will bring to our Alma Mater.

CLASS 83 - 30th Grand Alumni Homecoming - Alumni Ball

The provincewide Alumni Association of High School Batch 83 recognized as Catanduanes League of Alumni for Service and Solidarity (CLASS-83) celebrated the 30th Alumni Homecoming in which SAVS Batch 83 was a colleague.

The culminating activity was the Alumni Ball at the Capitol Dome, Provincial Capitol Building, Virac, Catanduanes on the Day 3 of the reunion.

Similar faces of our batchmates who attended the Day 2 were present during the affair.

Mr. Armen Samudio, one of our batchmates led the Opening Prayer during the program.

Before parting, the group visited one of our batchmates, Mr. Anatolio Magno at the Eastern Bicol Medical Center (EBMC), who met an accident driving his passenger’s tricycle along the national highway near barangay Asgad (JMA). We are thankful most of his passengers suffered minor injuries. The probable cause of the accident, Anatolio suffered hypertension (high blood) while driving the said motor vehicle. Unofficial diagnosis we learned from the hospital, our batchmate suffers blood clot on the head portion of his body. Today, he will be transferred to the mainland for proper treatment. Our prayers.

Batch Contingent to the 30th Grand Alumni Homecoming (Provincewide)

High School Batch 83 from different schools, CNHS, CSC Main and Lab, CC, ICSA, SAVS, San Miguel, Gigmoto, Baras, Caramoran RDHS to name a few, in our province have been organized to hold the homecoming - making a history in our province – the FIRST 30th Grand Alumni Homecoming of Batch 83 PROVINCEWIDE .

A small contingent from our classmates joined the celebrations – Day 2 of the reunion – Alumni Homecoming Mass and Parade around the Virac poblacion.

Excursions were held at the Twin Rock Beach Resort, Igang, Virac, Catanduanes after the parade - but our classmates made a reservation that the said activity will be conducted this coming April 27, 2013 at the Amenia Beach Resort for the celebration of the 30th Alumni Homecoming of our batch.

Upon reaching the Virac Center Mall, the SAVS Batch 83 contingent decided to make the parade short and take a snack at the Jollibee fastfood.

We commend Mr. Armand Gianan for the T-shirts we wear. Without it no delegations from our batch will attend the said activity.

We still have some t-shirts left and it will be decided whether it will be given as a prize in the raffle or parlor games during our homecoming.

Alumni Homecoming Joke
